Dr. John Sudick recently received the Patriots Award and commendations and recognition from the LC Foundation of Whittier, Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe’s office, and from the US Congress by Congresswoman Janice Hahn’s office. Dr. Sudick has been a Donated Dental Services (DDS) volunteer in Whittier since 1998, and is a member of the Dental Lifeline Network • California Leadership Council. He is also working with the Whittier Consortium on Homelessness to bring comprehensive dental care to 25-30 homeless individuals pre-screened by Whittier First Day and Dental Lifeline Network. In addition, Dr. Sudick volunteers his time with numerous other projects and local boards. As a member of the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society, CDA and ADA, he encourages other dentists to volunteer in their communities, including volunteering for Dental Lifeline Network’s DDS program. Since the DLN • California DDS program started in 1995, over 2,200 patients have received more than $7.8 million in donated treatment.
