DLN • Illinois to Serve More People through ISDS Foundation Grant
Dental Lifeline Network • Illinois was awarded an ISDS Foundation Community grant for $7,500 to support Donated Dental Services (DDS). The funding will be used to help leverage comprehensive dental treatment for 429 vulnerable Illinois residents in the fiscal year 2015-2016. This is the fifth gift to DLN from ISDS Foundation since 2009. Since its inception in 1990 the Illinois DDS program has helped 6,059 people and provided more than $16 million in donated treatment to individuals with disabilities or those who are elderly or medically fragile.The DLN • Illinois board accepted the grant in February at the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting.
