Four dental sales professionals from three dental supply companies are winners in the 2018 mid-year DentaCheques Sales Contest drawing. As of June 30, 2018 the winners have sold a combined total of 127 books, resulting in over $190,000 in dental care provided to vulnerable individuals. Revenue from sales of DentaCheques coupon books support free, comprehensive dental care provided through Dental Lifeline Network (DLN) programs to society’s most vulnerable people who have no other access to treatment.
Thomas Peterson, Henry Schein Dental, 59 books sold
Connie Beavers, Patterson Dental, 45 books sold
Kelly Small, Patterson Dental, 16 books sold
J Havlicek, Dental Health Products, Inc., 7 books sold
Grand prize winner Thomas Peterson of Henry Schein Dental explained, “I sell DentaCheques because with the industry wide participation, we can help facilitate a contribution to a great cause by our clients, while giving the client a great value, and the manufacturers are helping out as well.”
Sales professionals from participating supply companies earned one entry to the drawing per DentaCheques book sold during January 1 to June 30, 2018. Representatives of Burkhart Dental, Dental Health Products, Inc., Henry Schein Dental, companies of NDC Dental, and Patterson Dental sell DentaCheques without compensation.
“The reason why I sell Dentacheques every year is because I used to provide full care for the physically and mentally challenged patients in a nursing home. I saw how they were struggling every day with oral hygiene basics that we generally take for granted,” said Kelly Small of Patterson Dental. “The program is a wonderful way for the offices to give back to the less fortunate while reaping generous savings from our manufacturing partners. It takes very little time, and many of my clients look forward to seeing the deals.”
DentaCheques sales throughout 2018 are projected to raise $1.1 million to financially support the delivery of dental care to thousands of vulnerable people through DLN and its Donated Dental Services (DDS) program. Over 15,000 dentists and 3,400 laboratories nationwide volunteer for DDS and donate care to people with disabilities or who are elderly or medically fragile.
