More than Dentistry. Life.

Washington DDS Patient and Volunteer DentistDr. Hall and Roy

Guardian Life and Dental Lifeline Network thank you for your interest in helping more Washingtonians with special needs get more access to dental care.

Dentists and Labs – Volunteer!

If you are a dentist or Lab, we invite you to join the 15,000 dentists and 3,500 labs across the country who are currently serving patients in need by seeing one patient.

How Can I Help?

Consider making a donation today. Dentists and many labs donate their services but funding is still needed to support these volunteers and to coordinate care.

Many Washingtonians with disabilities, elderly, or medically fragile suffer from painful dental diseases that go untreated due to cost and lack of medical coverage. To help meet the needs of this vulnerable group, The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America® provided $125,000 grant to Dental Lifeline Network (DLN).

Services funded by the grant will begin to relieve the 147 cases currently backlogged in Washington due to insufficient funding. The most immediate need will be to increase staffing hours to help expedite the process as well as identify volunteer dentists who can commit to treating patients. Washington residents eligible to receive the care have disabilities, are elderly or medically fragile and suffer from dental diseases that can make eating and communicating difficult. Guardian’s grant is estimated to result in nearly $1 million in patient care (for each $1 given to DLN, $8.87 is provided in care) over the course of two years.
