DLN • Colorado Recognizes Outstanding Volunteers!

Dental Lifeline Network • Colorado honored five outstanding volunteers from the Donated Dental Services (DDS) program at the Colorado Dental Association on April 12th. The volunteer dentists and laboratories were recognized for their commitment and service to providing care for people who lack access dental treatment they cannot afford. The awards were presented during a continuing education course presented by Alan Sutton, DDS, MS of the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine.

In Colorado, 695 volunteer dentists and 208 volunteer dental labs have provided $27.1 million in care to nearly 12,000 vulnerable people in since 1985. Patients include people with disabilities or who are elderly or medically fragile.
