Outstanding Volunteers Recognized by DLN • KS!

Dental Lifeline Network • Kansas honored seven outstanding volunteers from the Donated Dental Services (DDS) program at the Kansas Dental Association board meeting on April 9th. The volunteer dentists and laboratories were recognized for their commitment and service to providing care for people who lack access to dental treatment. The awards were presented during the Midwest Dental Conference, by Cindi Sherwood, DDS, Dental Lifeline Network • Kansas board president.

In Kansas, 341 volunteer dentists and 73 volunteer dental labs have provided over $10 million in care to nearly 3,400 vulnerable people in since 1996. Patients include people with disabilities or who are elderly or medically fragile.
