Dental Lifeline Network has kicked off 2020 with a fundraiser—Lifeline Heroes Challenge—to help Veterans across the country receive much needed comprehensive dental care. We are a little more than halfway towards our goal and we would love to have your help to reach it!
The goal is to raise $500,000 to help 1,100 veterans receive donated comprehensive dental treatment. Sadly, many military veterans with special needs are those who once served our country. Now, they don’t have access to dental treatment. Because of congressional limitations, the Veterans Administration only provides dental treatment to a small fraction of veterans, leaving many without the care they need.
We have already gotten off to a great start with the generous gift of $34,000 from the American Heroes Fund, which was established by the ADA Foundation in honor of Dr. Loren Feldner. Hundreds of dentists have contributed to the fund so far and will continue to give throughout the year.
Additionally, we have received generous donations from the dental industry including Delta Dental, Guardian and many other supporters all rallying together to help us meet our goal. Since we’ve started, these companies have helped Dental Lifeline raise $408,413! We would love your participation in this fundraiser.
Join other dental industry heroes as they contribute to DLN in a variety of ways from donating dental hygienist fees, bake and yard sales, and asking office visitors to participate in a Lifeline Heroes Challenge. As a Lifeline Heroes Challenge participant, you will have superhero status to impact even more lives.
By supporting the Lifeline Heroes Challenge, you will be changing the lives of many of our nation’s military veterans.
