In recognition of the $500 million milestone, DLN is honoring the partners and individuals who have helped us get there. For the past 30 years, Patterson Dental has been a key supporter of DLN, contributing more than $10.5 million worth of funding and donated supplies and materials to DLN in support of donated dental treatment services.
“Of the many dental companies that have generously supported Dental Lifeline Network, Patterson Dental’s contributions shine the brightest and have resulted in our being able to generate $500 million in life-changing and life-saving services for thousands of people with special needs,” said Fred Leviton, CEO of DLN. “In addition to the millions of dollars donated, the contributions of Jim Wiltz, Former Interim President & CEO and Pete Frechette, retired CEO, have also enabled the organization to flourish.”
Through its flagship Donated Dental Services (DDS) program, DLN’s volunteers provide comprehensive dental care – at no cost – to people with disabilities, the elderly, and those who are considered medically fragile. This care is provided through a national network of nearly 15,000 volunteer dentists and 3,400 volunteer labs. Since its inception in 1985, its volunteers have donated $500 million in services, transforming the lives of more than 165,000 people who could not otherwise afford treatment.
A History of Giving Back
“Patterson Dental has a history of giving back to our communities and is proud to continue to partner with Dental Lifeline Network to support their efforts and mission through the years,” said Tim Rogan, Patterson Dental President.
