Across the country, thousands of committed dental professionals donate their time and skills to help people in need through Dental Lifeline Network’s Donated Dental Services (DDS) program. Currently, 3,043 labs nationwide volunteer for the DDS program, including Absolute Dental Services in Durham, North Carolina.
For the last 17 years, Absolute Dental Services has found purpose in using their skills and expertise to help those who need it most.
“Our participation in the DDS program is rooted in our belief that dental care is a fundamental part of overall health and dignity, and that our skills as a laboratory should extend beyond everyday production to truly serve the community,” said Tracie Jessie, CDT, Vice President of Operations.
Absolute Dental Services has generously donated $67,831 in lab fabrications to help change the lives of 102 vulnerable individuals in North Carolina.
“Volunteering allows our team to change someone’s life in a profoundly meaningful way,” explained Tracie, “often for patients who have struggled for years without access to care. It reminds all of us why we chose this profession.”
Thank you to Absolute Dental Services for your dedication to serving vulnerable individuals through the DDS program. The passion behind each of our volunteer dental labs is what results in lifechanging impact, and we are truly grateful for every volunteer who makes this vital work possible.
