We at DLN are heartbroken about the passing of Dr. Anthony R. Volpe on October 8, 2020. Dr. Volpe has been involved with DLN since its earliest days and his influence in the dental field and his passion for DLN’s mission helped get the organization where it is today. His stellar reputation as a dental professional and trusted friend cannot be overstated, and we greatly appreciate his dedication to changing and saving lives throughout his life and career.
“To suggest that DLN may not have survived its infancy without Dr. Volpe’s trust and involvement is not exaggeration,” Dr. Larry Coffee, DLN’s Founder, said. “He served the cause over decades with love and integrity as a cherished friend, member of the board, wise advisor, effective advocate, and donor.”
Dr. Volpe was an integral part of DLN engaging strategic partners over the years. His assistance through fundraising, networking, and serving as a member of both DLN’s national and New Jersey Boards of Directors opened numerous doors to serving more people in need each year.
“To say Tony was special is an understatement,” said Fred Leviton, DLN President & CEO. “His achievements were amazing as was his impact on everyone who knew him. He brought the organization’s activities to many of dentistry’s superstars who also contributed to our growth.”
We are forever grateful for the impact Dr. Volpe had on DLN’s growth and success. His passion and dedication to helping others will live on for many years to come.
