We are so grateful for all the partners who contribute to Dental Lifeline Network DLN. This quarter we are proud to highlight The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America (“Guardian”).
Guardian has been a generous supporter and partner of DLN for the past four years. Since the inception of our partnership, Guardian’s financial support has made it possible to help almost 38,000 people in need and counting! Guardian’s grant facilitates millions of dollars in donated services to veterans, older adults, and medically fragile individuals. As one of the leading sponsors of the Donated Dental Services program, Guardian has provided more than $1 million since 2018, which helped DLN generate over $70 million in donated treatments during that time. This includes assistance to 4,000+ military veterans via the “Will You See One Vet?” initiative that has emerged more than 1,000 volunteer dentists.
“The impact of our partnership with Guardian has been tremendous. We so value the compassion and generosity from across the entire company and take great satisfaction knowing our work together is helping save and change lives across the country,” said DLN President and CEO Lynda Ricketson.
This generous partnership goes beyond financial grant support. Guardian helps build awareness amongst its dental providers to recruit more volunteers and engages Guardian colleagues to support our shared vision of providing dental care to those with the greatest needs.
Last March, Guardian’s colleagues participated in a cornhole fundraiser at their annual sales conference in Orlando. This fun-filled event generated an additional $5,000 to help those in need and increased greater awareness for DLN.
In addition to their financial support, recently Guardian volunteers also assembled dental hygiene kits for our Campaign of Concern, a dental education program that serves developmentally disabled individuals.
“Guardian’s partnership with DLN demonstrates our unwavering commitment to champion well-being. We are proud to support services that create access to comprehensive dental treatments for often-underserved populations, and we remain dedicated to serving our communities while creating equitable opportunities for those in need,” said Francine Chew, Guardian’s Head of Corporate Social Responsibility.
DLN’s programs have provided nearly $520 million in donated services to over 166,000 patients since the organization was founded in 1974. Guardian’s close partnership has been a significant contributor to this process. Its latest grant and enthusiastic employee engagement will help inspire more well-being and deepen the impact we have on the patients who need us the most.
