Recognizing DLN Wyoming Supporters

DLN is proud to recognize The Daniels Fund, Delta Dental of Wyoming, The Myra Fox Skelton Foundation, and The Wyoming Community Foundation for their support of the DDS program in Wyoming.

These grants will provide critical dental care for those who are elderly, with disabilities and have limited incomes, complementing these four Foundations’ missions. Partnering with DLN will reinforce efforts to give one of our most vulnerable communities access to the dental care they need.

In the state of Wyoming, we have over 100 dentists treating over 1,000 patients and donated treatment to the amount of over 3 million dollars. These funders have supported Dental Lifeline Network for many years, showing their commitment to the oral health of some Wyoming’s most vulnerable communities. Through their support, we’ve been able to help people like James, a 67-year-old Air Force veteran who needed treatment due to his many missing teeth and several others that had become infected. Our DDS program, with the help of two volunteers, changed James’s life around. Without our funders, DLN wouldn’t be able to give our patients the dental care they need.

“Millions of Americans have seriously neglected dental diseases that impact their overall health and impede their ability to work or live full lives,” said Dental Lifeline Network CEO, Fred Leviton. “Right now, we have more than 150 Wyomingites on a wait-list to receive desperately needed services. Through funders like these, we can get them the care they need.”

A little about the funders:

The Daniels Fund – The Daniels Fund provides grants to support nonprofit organizations throughout Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.

Delta Dental of Wyoming –Delta Dental has been around for over 50 years and continues to improve oral health by emphasizing preventive care and making dental coverage accessible so that everyone can enjoy a healthy smile.

The Myra Fox Skelton Foundation – This Foundation has been donating funds to nonprofits who operate in Natrona County, Wyoming. The Myra Fox Skelton Foundation has supported us since 2013.

The Wyoming Community Foundation – In 30 years of giving, The Wyoming Community Foundation has granted over $70 million to 23 counties. WYCF, overseen by a volunteer board, connects people with causes that matter to build a better Wyoming.
