One of Dental Lifeline Network’s most essential partners is the American Dental Association (ADA) providing both financial and strategic support over the last 30 years. Annual financial support totaling more than $1.6 million in donations over the years helps provide services for people with special needs.
Along with its financial support, the ADA encourages its members to donate services through DLN’s Donated Dental Services (DDS) and Will You See One Vet (WYSOV) programs. Last year’s donation underpinned services to 11,500 individuals and helped engage nearly 1,500 new volunteer dentists. These dentists donate comprehensive treatment in their offices for people with disabilities or who are elderly or medically fragile, including many military veterans.
“We are incredibly grateful to the ADA for its continued support of DLN and our mission,” said Fred Leviton, President and CEO of DLN. “The partnership with ADA and its ongoing commitment to our mission is invaluable in providing life-saving and life-changing care to vulnerable people across the country including veterans who have valiantly served our country.”
