In an effort to recruit more volunteers and spread the word about Dental Lifeline Network and its programs, Donated Dental Services (DDS) volunteer, Dr. Lindsay Compton and her patient, Sofie, were recently featured in a new video.
“I am so grateful to Dental Lifeline Network’s DDS program, and to Dr. Compton and her team for changing my life and making me feel more comfortable with my smile,” said Sofie about her care.
Since becoming a DDS volunteer five years ago, Dr. Compton has donated over $32,000 in care to DDS patients. She currently serves as the President of the Colorado Dental Association and is the District 14 American Dental Association New Dentist Representative.
With over 6,000 patients currently on the waitlist, in this new video, Dr. Compton encourages dentists nationwide to volunteer to see at least one patient a year.
“The mission of Dental Lifeline Network is so important, and does so much good in the lives of individuals in need,” said Dr. Compton.
“DDS screens patients, coordinates appointments, and completes the paperwork,” said DLN Chief Executive Officer, Lynda Ricketson. “It has never been easier to impact your community as a dentist.”
