Will you see ONE?

Will you see one?

My broken, decaying teeth are fixed and I can eat again.

you can CHANGE a life

“Volunteering is easy. DLN screens those in need and coordinates the initial appointment. Patients are treated right in my office, on my schedule. If you’re like me and want to make a real difference in someone’s life — DLN makes it possible.”

-Mandy Miller, DDS

From clearing up painful dental infections and being able to eat again to rejoining the workforce – volunteering with Dental Lifeline Network’s Donated Dental Services (DDS) program will make a life-changing difference for the people we serve.

The Network

As a volunteer, you will be part of DLN’s national network of 15,000 volunteer dentists and 3,700 volunteer laboratories, working together to make a difference in the lives of those we serve. Since its inception in 1985, our Donated Dental Services (DDS) program has surpassed $330 million in donated dental care, transforming the lives of 117,000 people.

The Need

DLN facilitates donated, comprehensive treatment to vulnerable people with disabilities, the elderly or those who are medically compromised. The need for dental care in the U.S. is great. In 2016 more than 2 million U.S. emergency room visits were attributed to neglected teeth. We need volunteers like you to help serve the more than 11,000 people on our wait list.

How it Works

Volunteering made easy. We handle the details, you provide the care in your office and on your schedule. Our local coordinators screen patients to confirm eligibility, help ensure that patients show up to their appointments, coordinate lab work and specialty care, and serve as a liaison between your staff and the patient.
