Dental Lifeline Network is thrilled to welcome the expertise of Dr. Fred Howard and Eric White to our National Board as we continue our mission to transform the lives of America’s most vulnerable adults.
Eric White, Dykema Member
Eric, a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Virginia School of Law, joins the DLN Board with over 20 years of corporate dentistry experience.
Eric has a unique ability to build bridges and a strong commitment to giving back to society. He brings extensive experience working with diverse companies, particularly within the healthcare sector.
“Together with my many years in group dentistry and my passion for giving back I look forward to helping DLN grow more partners,” said Eric. “Through increasing awareness and partnerships, I hope to increase DLN’s volunteer network so we can bring more dental treatment to those who cannot afford it.”
Eric will utilize his relationships in the dental industry to help DLN staff make valuable connections to meet its strategic goals of recruiting new volunteers through group dentistry to reach new dentists and ultimately serve more people in our communities.
Dr. Fred Howard, 6th District Trustee, American Dental Association
Dr. Fred Howard is a leader in the dental profession and will serve as the American Dental Association’s Liaison. He currently serves as the Sixth District Trustee of the American Dental Association (ADA) and is committed to advancing oral health on a national level. Dr. Howard graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and has practiced dentistry in Harlan, Kentucky for 39 years. He has been active in state and national professional organizations, having served in various positions with the Kentucky Dental Association (KDA) and ADA.
“Throughout my career, I’ve been deeply committed to serving the dental community and improving access to care,” said Dr. Howard. “I’m eager to bring my experience to the Dental Lifeline Network board and strengthen their efforts to improve oral health in communities across the country.”
Beyond his leadership roles, Dr. Howard works in dental education and is an Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry at the UK College of Dentistry. His dedication to community involvement in these various capacities will serve as a valuable asset to Dental Lifeline Network.
